Until December 2024, PROARQ was structured into two areas of concentration and four research lines. As of 2025, the program adopted a single area of concentration — Architecture, Design, Teaching and Criticism. The research lines Restoration and Heritage Management and Theory and Teaching of Architecture were merged into a single line called Theory, History and Heritage. The line Architecture, Design and Sustainability was renamed Built Environment, Technology and Sustainability, and the line Culture, Landscape and Built Environment was renamed Culture and Landscape.
