DELIBERATIVE COMMITTEE

The highest decision-making body and a forum for collective discussion. It is responsible for approving regulations, changes in the research and organizational structure, resolutions, the composition of coordinations and committees, selection processes, examination boards, budget, expenditures, and institutional support. It is composed of all permanent, collaborating, and visiting faculty members; one student representative from the Master’s program; one student representative from the Doctoral program; and one administrative staff representative. All members have voting rights, except retired faculty members, even those who maintain formal ties with the Program and UFRJ.
