This project coordinated by professor Aline Calazans, is an umbrella project and focuses on the investigation of form and its geometry in a constant and dialectical relationship with performance in the scope of Architecture and Urbanism. The research proposes to continue the work developed so far, specifically contributing to two new joint research fronts: (i) integration of descriptive geometry with parametric tools in a manner incorporated into teaching and applied to the field of architecture knowledge; (ii) investigation of environmental performance associated with the shape of polyhedra equivalent to the geometry of buildings. Such strands of investigation of form seek to establish the dialogue between geometry and environmental analysis through a digital model parameterized in common.
