Interdisciplinary group created in 2007, linked to the ProLUGAR Group of PROARQ-FAU / UFRJ, under the coordination of Professor Vera Regina Tângari (http://www.fau.ufrj.br/prolugar). SEL-RJ has support from CNPq, FAPERJ from CAPES, through the granting of various types of funding and scholarships. It aims to study the systems of open building spaces and their relationship with urban planning and design and with the configuration and dynamics of the landscape in the city and in the State of Rio de Janeiro.
