The 6th PROARQ Research Colloquium aims to continue the series of previous events held in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. The rationale for this continuity lies in the Program’s constant need for self-assessment and the establishment of future goals.
The event seeks to strengthen the integration and articulation of different experiences and knowledge generated by PROARQ professors, researchers, and undergraduate and graduate students. It also aims to increase the dissemination of research, agreements, and partnerships within the program. Additionally, it will foster closer exchanges with other graduate programs by inviting their representatives to fully participate in the scheduled activities.
As an open event held at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of UFRJ, it also provides an opportunity to spark interest among undergraduate students in future engagement with scientific research.
The main objectives of the 6th Colloquium are to continue the work and discussions presented in previous editions; to bring together all faculty members, researchers, and students of the program to discuss, disseminate, and share experiences through each research group, thereby advancing knowledge production, science, and technology in the field of architecture; to strengthen the involvement of undergraduate students, including the presentation of scientific initiation projects within each research group’s dedicated space; and to disseminate the scientific output of faculty and students in order to support the consolidation of the Research Groups.
