Research Award – Category A XLIII ARQUISUR Meeting and XXVIII Congress “Transformations: Architecture, City, and Territory in Times of Change”

The Graduate Program in Architecture at UFRJ (PROARQ), together with FAU UFRJ, celebrates the 1st place in Category A of the ARQUISUR 2025 Award, granted to the work “Proposal of a Catalog of Nature-Based Solutions to Guide the Implementation of Urban Flood Control Measures”, developed by undergraduate student Maria Eduarda da Cunha Barros (IC PIBIC/UFRJ), under the supervision of Prof. Aline Veról and co-supervision by PhD student Maria Vitória Gomes and Master’s student Giulia Figueiredo.

The award was presented during the 43rd Meeting and 28th Congress of the Asociación de Escuelas y Facultades de Arquitectura Públicas de América del Sur (ARQUISUR), held from October 21 to 25, 2025, at FADU – Santa Fe, Argentina, under the theme “Transformations: Architecture, City, and Territory in Times of Change.”
