Ben Highmore has been a powerful voice on urban transformations in the 20th century and on the domestic and public relations within the Western city, drawing on everyday life and cultural studies. His research on Mood and Political Culture aligns with De Certeau’s work, and his studies on playground experiments bring to life a collective and playful way of engaging with everyday experience.
