Brazilian Symposium on Information Technology in Construction (SBTIC) and Workshop on Construction Process and Systems Technology (TECSIC)

For the first time held jointly, SBTIC and TECSIC took place from August 20 to 22, 2025, in Florianópolis, Brazil.

Prof. Dr. Mônica Salgado, faculty member of PROARQ and Coordinator of the Research Group on Project Management in Architecture (GEPARQ), served as coordinator of one of the thematic sessions and presented the paper “Artificial Intelligence and BIM in Project Management: Where Are We?”.

The events brought together researchers from various institutions to discuss the advances and challenges of BIM education in Brazil, as well as the role of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in project and construction process management.
