Holds a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1987) and a Master's degree in Urbanism from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2004). Doctorate (2012) at PROURB/FAU/UFRJ with the theme "Vital_Urban Design" focusing on Social Housing, Post-doctoral studies at Oxford Brookes University (2019), when she worked on building a coding for quality parameters of Urban Design with a focus on Social Housing, with research based on the English methodology for the construction of a manual of "good practices" in urban design design with an emphasis on the relationship between the process and the product in the construction of quality parameters. She currently works as an adjunct professor at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and professor of the collaborating faculty of the Graduate Program in Architecture - PROARQ and researcher at CNPq by the LabHab group -PROARQ/FAU/UFRJ.
