Graduated (1995) in Civil Engineering from the São Carlos School of Engineering (EESC) of the University of São Paulo (USP), master's (1998) and doctorate (2004) in Structural Engineering, also from EESC - USP. She was coordinator and professor of the post-graduate course in Structural Engineering at Fundação Paulista de Tecnologia e Educação (UNILINS) for 10 years. She coordinated the Civil Engineering undergraduate course at Centro Universitário Central Paulista (Unicep), where she also served as a professor of Engineering and Architecture courses. She has experience in the development of structural projects in reinforced concrete, steel and structural masonry. She is currently a professor in the Department of Construction Technology at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at UFRJ and a researcher in the LabHab group of the Graduate Program in Architecture at UFRJ, Proarq, where she dedicates herself to the topic of Building Processes in Popular Territories.
