Health Spaces Assessment

Coordinated by professor Mauro Santos. This research aims to develop the concept of rationality, environmental comfort and energy efficiency in healthcare space solutions. The evaluation is limited to the functional aspect through the analysis of the program, dimensioning and flexibility of the spaces, and the changes made during the period of use. The selected cases represent innovative projects. Among the research results, the New University Hospital Project - UFRJ stands out, under development within the Group. Project developed by the research group Espaço -Saúde of the Graduate Program in Architecture at FAU/UFRJ in collaboration with the Center for Studies in Collective Health (NESC/UFRJ) and with a technical cooperation agreement with the Municipal Health Secretariat from Rio de Janeiro.
