This research project, coordinated by professor Vera Tângari aims to meet the goals defined by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and the New Urban Agenda (NUA) by CAPES PRINT, with a focus on criticism and project development. The activities to be developed must defend the improvement of quality of life, public education and health, physical security, well-being, creativity, and the public sphere in cities. In this context, the research, extension, and design practice activities that meet the guidelines and include solutions to perceived problems in an inclusive manner are understood as ateliers. The project includes the development of project solutions, studies, analyzes, and interdisciplinary projects with collaborations and co-productions with professionals, government representatives, community representatives, and other civil society bodies. The target audience includes undergraduate and graduate students, future professionals in architecture, urbanism and landscaping and related fields. Participatory studio activities involve the development of project intervention solutions, fueled by studies and research on a specific topic or space, within one school year. Therefore, 5 works will be developed between 2018 and 2020, through the planning and coordination of the 1st edition of the “Agenda 2030 - Participatory project and planning workshop”, and 5 works between 2021 and 2022, through the planning and coordination of the 2nd edition of “ Agenda 2030 - Participatory project and planning workshop ”.
