Architect and Urban Planner. Retired Associate Professor at UFRJ and collaborating professor at Proarq/UFRJ and PPGAU-DAU/UERJ. Leader of the Research Network on Museum Architecture and Heritage (UFRJ), and of the Museum Architecture Study Group (UFRJ) created in 2001 and registered in the CNPq Research Groups Directory. Researcher at UFRJ/EBA-LaPecre, UFPE/MDU-LUP and MHN/GPEHM, she holds a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of Brasília (1970), a master's degree in Communication and Culture Theories from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1993), a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning from the Institute of Urban and Regional Research and Planning (1999), a PhD in Museology from the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies (2012) and a post-doctorate in Museum and American Studies at New York University - NYU/USA (2004-2005). Member of the Superior Council and the Collections Working Group of the Institute of Architects of Brazil / Rio de Janeiro Department, she was a member of the Advisory Board of the National Institute of Historical and Artistic Heritage. She is currently a member of the Municipal Council for Cultural Heritage of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Researcher, ad hoc consultant and scholarship holder of Facepe, Mast/UniRio and the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development - CNPq. Author and co-author of books and articles, she is the advisor of master's dissertations, doctoral theses, post-doctoral studies and final undergraduate works that cover the themes of Professional Training, Design of buildings, equipment and open spaces, and conservation and restoration of cultural heritage. Organizer of international scientific meetings, she has experience in the area of ​​Architecture and Urbanism, with emphasis on Planning and Design of Urban Space, working mainly on the following themes: architecture and urbanism, museum architecture, cultural heritage and museology. She is part of the network of professors and researchers of UFRJ, UERJ, ULHT, ETSAM and UFPE; and is part of the Network of Teachers and Scientists in the Field of Museology.
