Graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1978), master's degree in MSc in Health Management from the University of Heidelberg (1991), doctorate in Medicine from the University of Heidelberg (1997) and doctorate in Public Health from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (2004) ). She is currently an associate professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She has experience in the field of Public Health, with an emphasis on Public Health, working mainly on the following topics: research in Health Systems and Services, Medical Education Humanization of Care, social representations.
