Curator, critic and art historian. PhD in Visual Arts (History of Art, 2005) by UFRJ. Professor at the School of Fine Arts at UFMG, having previously taught at the Institute of Arts at UERJ, at the Department of Architecture and Urbanism at PUC-Rio and at the School of Visual Arts at Parque Lage. He works as a researcher in the Graduate Program in Architecture at UFRJ-PROARQ and as a Collaborating Professor in the Graduate Program in Arts at UERJ-PPGARTES. He ran MAC in Niterói and was editor-in-chief of Dasartes magazine. He was the curator of several exhibitions on modern and contemporary Brazilian art in the country and abroad and regularly collaborates for magazines, catalogs and books.
