Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2009), master's degree (2012) and doctorate (2016) in engineering from the Alberto Luiz Coimbra Institute of Graduate Studies and Research in Engineering at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (COPPE / UFRJ). Completed a doctorate-sandwich program with Université Pierre et Marie Curie-Paris 6 (2015) and a postdoctoral degree at COPPE. He is currently an adjunct professor in the Department of Construction Technology at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at UFRJ, a permanet professor in the Graduate Program in Architecture (PROARQ) and a collaborator in the Structures and Materials Laboratory (LabEST / NUMATS) at COPPE. Practice areas: cementitious materials with low environmental impact, use of concrete waste, recycled aggregates, recycling of construction and demolition waste, self-compacting concrete, lightweight concrete, fiber reinforced concrete, pastes for cementing oil wells, fracturing of fragile materials , fracture of heterogeneous materials, digital image correlation applied to experimental techniques.
